Did you guys get a chance to look at data for Mexico by any chance? Since there is only a backlog for EB3 can one assume that things will improve in the next 2 years or will legislative relief be required for Mexico as well?

Thanks for the link . After reading the doc your analysis does make sense.
I am just confused that how they assigned 70K EB2 visas in 2008. Because EB2 share is
40k + 4k(EB1 left over)+? how many FB = 70k . So from above it looks like all FB leftover went to EB2.
Please clearify.

I wish they invested in R and D and innovation and products instead of services. Service industry is mainly governed by dealing with cost efficient labor. These companies reach out to IITs IIMs get the best and brightest and dump them into the service sector and start earning on them.
If they changed their business modal and started investing in products and Rand D, it may not give them quick money, but the results will be beneficial on the long run.
Service industry is not always based on labor cost differentials. Many services are value added services. For example, stock brokers used to charge $200 and above for stock trades; however, electronic brokers came and made the industry efficient and hence can profit more by charging only $10 or even less. But this does not mean that the stock brokers are earning less. In fact they are earning more than before. However, their value additions come from faster settlement times and high volumes. This is easier to analyze. Now look at London or Hong Kong -- what services it provides and why is it booming?
High investments in R&D in general is good for economy but not necessarily true for a company. well this is your time. with eb3 row 2009, you probably are in wait for at least 5 years. Anyway the point is, no country would be stupid enough to stop great talent from coming through to satisfy it's diversity policy. When you are talking about 0.14 million immigrants for a nation of 300 million, that's less than 0.05%. So please take your diversity argument with you and don't let the door hit you on your way out. For this miniscule percentage, the US will lose out on thousands of the best Indian and Chinese engineering/science talent. US's loss, India/China's gain. If this is not an example of an extremely stupid strategic policy then I'm not sure what is.

I would urge you to change the title as most of your problems are due to your own decisions and not due to agency.
This may not be true. This is the problem being faced by many singles. Ofcourse those singles are postponing their plans just because of USCIS policies which in the case of singles is ridiculous. There is no meaning to make a person wait for 5-10 years to get one's spouse just because he applied for a Green Card. I see various kinds of visas for the spouses in other categories like H1 has H4
L1 has L2/L4 ( I dont know what that is)
and so on so forth..
but for a spouse of AOS? nothing.
All the crap of going on H1 are ridiculous. At the first place one has to get a sponsor for H1 and then there are all those issues out of being H1 with the employer and USCIS. There is no benefit of being on AOS. They cannot use EAD. They cannot start companies freely, etc because they are supposed to be on H1 or L1 etc.

I read on USCIS website update on Sept 28 that CSc is assisting TSC to enter the applications. My transfer notice states that application is still under TSC/ But I am also not sure which center will finally process

Kit your castle was wild, was it done from a photograph? Yeah, I used one of my old holiday snaps as a reference. One of the places I used to get taken on holiday to when I was a kid was up near Gloucester, and there was this old ruined castle. Used to love going there, and in the middle of this battle I suddenly remembered it and dug out my old photos. Had that next to me while I was drawing it. :)

There is no such law that specifies any duration one has to be employed by GC (or AC-21) employer. Period.
However, there is a twist to it. As per law, the beneficiary MUST have intent to work for GC employer at the time of filing of I-485 and intent to work for AC-21 employer if invoking AC-21. However, this intent is to start work AFTER getting green card. The intent is subject to change, too.
By working for the employer for some duration, it is easier to demonstrate that person has intent to work for the employer for the full time job offered. This duration is not written in stone, and every lawyer interprets differently. For me (and this for just me), 90 days should be a safe duration, since it has been tested in courts that 90 days a long enough time when intent of the person can change. (This is known as 30-60-90 day intent rule). This is why lawyers usually advise to wait for 90 days when a person on single intent non-immigrant visa (such as B1 or F1) wants to file for I-130/I-140 and/or I-485.
