Any means of sending this would be helpful. Lets make it as easy as possible for people. For now - lets see if we can get over a 1000 people to do this.
Ideally in addition to posting your letter on www.WhiteHouse.gov/Contact, it would help if you send a letter to your Senators office as well.
Instead of sending emails, wouldn't it be better to send USPS mail or faxes?
I have sent electronic forms to state senators & whitehouse.gov.

that lately any visa interview that has to be taken in india is no more bound to any consulate, especially if you are already been in usa. you are free to book web-appointment's in any of indian consulates to get it done.
pl check respective sources / attorney to make sure before you decide.

You can bring UP TO 4 spouses on H4 visa. That's why it is called H4. Similarly on F2, you can only bring 2 spouses, Ah...students do not make that kind of money to support more than 2 spouses. USCIS thinks so much about us.

I have nothing to say about the dems in particular...........however, you are being extremely short sighted if you want Obama to loose. He is driving this country in the right direction, and you go with any republican who just talks nonsense of tax cut and national security, you may have a green card or even citizenship - and your children will be wishing to go to another country as there are no opportunities here!

i disagree with you, i love obama the candidate, but since then he did little to merit his election, so howz health care gonna help ppl who have no job in the first place, stimulus was a colossal failure by any standard, he referred republicans as "enemies", howz that for a "change" in dc? we all know this country needs innovation but therz no significant increase in R&D under his presidency, i love some of his decisions but saying he is taking country in the right direction and there is no republican who can do that is not true,
he is too left, we need a leader who does not lean left or right

The one consolation is that once you get to file your 485, you should not spend too much time in that pending 485 situation.
So if you ask me today, would I rather have filed 485 with a PD of 2006/7 or be in your situation, as bleak as your situation looks today, the better choice might be your situation.

Again, once he/she files 485, his 485 is not going to be processed immediately. AP, EAD may be issued but it may take 6-9 months for 485 to get processed.
However, if PD moves so much ahead that your PD is also current, then you will get your GC (if other processes are complete) whereas he/she would have just filed 485.

After landing, he made me a sign a contract that i won't leave him within 1 year or else i need to bear fines ( he didn't tell this while giving offer letter in India ). Then later he kicked me out after 1 year ( because of bad time there weren't much projects ).

I would not call you pessimistic. You are SELFISH. Sure you do not share the same enthu because this announcement does not offer you anything. Grow up and feel for others. Everyone knows that there will be a backlog and that is an issue we have to deal with once we get there.

I can make a similar argument about you and others. You are so concerned about your benefit today, that you dont see the harm it may do to H1b holders and future candidates for I-485.

Yeah if the restriction was for non immigrants none of their "special" buddies from gulf states like UAE, Saudi, Kuwait etc would be able to visit.
Many of those " special buddies" would have diplomatic passports, hence no inspection at the POE
But i think you can not practice polygamy or bring multiple spouse to the US on non immigrant visa

Personally, if I am not going to get a GC, I would much prefer loosing 20-25% of the PPF and have some chance of recovering the remainder from the "babus" than loosing all of it to the US government that considers me ineligible for benefits that I have already paid for in full. Its a positive sign that the Indian govt, whatever its vested interest may be, has at least considered taking up this issue.
Lets not nitpick on corruption and nepotism in our home countries. Its no secreat that it exists here as well - except that it goes by different names such as premium processing, amnesty etc and the whole thing is more streamlined and marketed with a positive spin on it.Nobody has experienced that more than us. And yeah, I am being cynical here.
