Loved them all but I was torn between eilsoe and kax. kax's shadows are what impressed me most, and if the castle was populated or had a little more color, I might have voted there, but I instead took to eilsoe's because of the people and captions ;) It also embodies more what I think of as 'pixel art', which is very straight or isometric, not to say those that werent wer bad because of that; in fact that gives a more impressive look and feel, but I needed some fun and eilsoe delivered. What shocked me most is that there were more people waiting in line at the mens bathrooms... hmm, guess its mostly guys there. :) The duck reflections were also a nice touch.

I agree that "It is an irony that most people here who raised valid concerns have "red" reputation". I don't know how it works. I know it doesn't matter but I just added +ve reputaton for ck_b2001 and Lisap.
Anyways, I think the moderators should not forget that this is an open forum also. And it has become popular because of people like us. As of now I am using this site as a forum where I get some info/experience from people like me regardng GC. Its an important thing (to get GC) and a painful process. May be thats why this site/forum has got so many serious members, spending time and sharing their so much personal information.
But to me (its just me), GC is important but not a life/death thing and there are lot of other things which are more important to me other than getting GC. Frankly speaking, I will spend time and money in those other things at this time. May be sometime later when I will be more comfotable and have more exp. with persons here, I might participate actively here too. And I believe lot of others might have similar thoughts.
My point here is that:
1. This is an open forum (like immigrationportal etc.) to discuss/share views/exp about GC process. So let it be like that only. If its not, then I will ask moderators to "please close this open forum".

If you have an approved I-140 and the job description matches that of your Labor, you shouldn't have any issues. The job title shouldn't matter either, it's all in the description/role/responsibilities and the technology. If the technology/tool changes then it's an issue because the Labor you have tells that there is a shortage of people in that area.

How much does technology come into picture? I changed jobs using AC21 and am on EAD, my new job utilizes only 50% of the skills from previous job and am getting trained in new technologies in the new job. I am not sure if the new employer will list all technologies mentioned in the labor, but will definitely list all those that are being used. Any comments?

If it is of any consolation, though not required, I did submit employment letter along with her I485 from my wife's company which states her current salary and that employer is willing to provide employment till her H1B approval expires.
It means, if at all they have any doubts, they may issue RFE, but if you have a good relationship in responding to those RFEs using company letters etc, there is no problem. Good relation means, employer has to suppprt you always in case of any RFE, thats it. He needs stand on your side. Then there is no problem. But if he won't stand on your side, then it is a problem. So, thats why relation with employer is very important when on H1 or EB.
It means, if at all they have any doubts, they may issue RFE, but if you have a good relationship in responding to those RFEs using company letters etc, there is no problem. If folks had turned up in DC rally in 10,000-20,000, if equal number thousands had written letters to their Congressmen, if all of them had visited local offices, if hundreds of them had visited DC offices - we would have succeeded by now. Steve King or not.
We did nothing, except make those last minute calls. We gave the lawmakers suggestion for solution (pass HR xxxxx), without bothering to educate them what the problem is and how many are impacted. Results were there for everyone to see, Horses bill was put for discussion before ours, making it very easy for Mr. King to do his dirty work.
We shouldn't be complaining. I bet the horse lovers (animal rights activists) were more active and successful in educating the lawmakers than our community. Hence they got the precedence.
Point is there will be lawmakers like Rep King and Sen Sessions, who'll oppose any visa increase or recapture, rain or sunshine. There are also lawmakers who are sympathetic to us to balance them out. Our biggest hurdle is other lawmakers who don't have a stand on the issue. They are the majority and their vote can go either way. Our biggest hurdle is to reach out to these lawmakers, explain our problems and convince them that a sufficiently large number of their constituents are impacted.
If we succeed in doing that, our battle is won. No King or Sessions can stop us.
Good job on bringing this back to fire.

For EB ROW, if they issue 1 yr EAD...does tht mean their 485s are not approved for at least 1 yr?
Received 2 year EAD card in email. Card is valid from jul 30th 2008 to jul 29th 2010. My PD is current.(May 06). Dont know if this is good news or bad news.

Kinkos is horrible!!! I went there this morning and had to wait 40 minutes for my photos and when they came back they had a greenish tint and the colors were all washed out. They looked like a two year old photoshoped them :D Clearly they would have been rejected by immigration so I asked for my money back.
I then went to Sears and they did a great job. They have professional studio equipment and all it took was 5 minutes and I had all my copies looking great like they're supposed to.
So... Sears, highly recommended. They charged me $61 for two sets of 8 photos for me and my wife which is the same price as Kinkos or CVS & Walgreens, less the horrible amateurish quality.
I took the first set of photos in Walgreens, but the background was not clean although plain white.. they was a very light spot in center of the photo, although not obvious, when asked I was told thatz how the background screen is and all photos they take are the same and they showed me few samples. I was not happy and drove straight to Sears and the photo I took came out pretty good. Same or better than the samples in the link below

Secondly if you are looking for maternity coverage after getting pregnant the premiums are going to be high, and mostly the insurance companies deny coverage.
Thirdly i would check with your local medicaid office which on occasion do provide emergency maternity coverage even for legal immigrants in some states.

I wonder what our children and grandchildren will learn from all these. When they grow up and know that their parents had to go through this mess while waiting to be accepted legally for xxxx number of years and some people got the "grand reward" of being illegal for many years!!
