I wish.. that sale happens soon and let common sense prevail. Probably they are trying too hard to shore up their subscriber base by evoking the last resort.. creating sensation with meaningless issues.

I know several ladies from my Bradley class who have delivered their babies there and have great reviews.
Their total fee is $4,950 for all the prenatal care and normal pregnancy and delivery (no insurance).
Also anyone who wants to avoid medicated deliveries should check out Bradley classes.

Well, that's the job of the media. Our job is to get GC. Although the issues are true, I would still prefer having absolutely correct articles, so no anti-immigrant could point his/her finger saying "look, immigrants are spreading lies". Just like we bashed them when they were claiming that we pay less taxes. It was a good point to discredit them.
Media always narrates and presents it in a form where the commoner can understand, it needs spice.
Let us hope that we get more media attention and people start listen to us.

I have suffered a lot due to this stamping business and I have a thread on IV "STUCK IN MONTREAL" I was there for almost 2 months with 2 of my sons and wife. My oldest one lost his full smester of college, 2nd one was only in 4th grade and got lucky due to his excellent record in school and hence was promoted, due to this stamping business and I was poorer by 30K. I will do whatever needs to be done to get this bill rolling and am ready to share my story with any one..
This was my 3rd stamping with the same employer and 2nd one was also in Toronto in 2005 at that time I had no problems and this time my salary was almost 30% more tan the last one in 2005.

Yes you are right, there is bound to have EAD flood in market, with spouses of hi-tech worker will come to market to search hi-tech job with spouse phone support. I have seen such cases countless times in past few years and yes they will be in future without exception. However, matter of fact, these fresh EAD (previous H4) don't get the dream job in first attempt, it takes good 2 year to find a similar job that H1b hitech worker does.
But thats the realty of market, every year new jobs are added and every year new job seekers join the crowd.
On the otherside, a hitech worker is suppose to always learning something new and getting his/her position more stronger everyday, its a knowledge market, whoever knows more gets better $$. With my 7yr US exp and total 10 yrs CS exp I have no scare that any single fresh EAD will come close to me. A senior is always a senior no matter which field you talk.

The reason Yates memo talks about significant wage diff is to determine whether job classification is the same. It is possible that someone working in IT as a programmer starts his own company/switches to another IT company and starts to do business development. Now there would be significant wage diff coz BDev people get paid more than an IT professional. In such a case USCIS would not allow AC21.
One quick question about salary limitation. Where is this mentioned. I went through the following link posted on this thread earlier ( see below). It says clearly no restrictions on wage. Please suggest, why is this a issue.

I am not so sure where you get the impression that being a pilot is not a glamarous job any more. If you equate airline pilot to taxi drivers, you would probabily see planes dropping from sky like raining, and I bet few would dare to take commercial airline, unless one with suicidal tendency.
However, that relates another interesting part about outsourcing: lots of people are saying outsourcing are good and you can get anyone to do the IT job, but it really turned out that lots of oursourced jobs are done so poorly that eventually it costs more for the company.
I don't know how he/she equated handling a machine as complex as an airplane to a taxi cab. Bad analogy. Pilots are highly paid for a very good reason. Agreed that most of the maintenance is done by the ground crew but to make sense of the ever evolving flight instrumentation panel requires constant training and a significant amount of intelligence.
Software in certain areas has become a commodity especially coding application software which makes up about 80-85% of all systems developed. But a lot of work such as technical specification, software architecture etc. are still being seen as primarily onsite functions.

Ok..., but can you tell me how they are approving cses for PD EB3'2003 or Any EB3 cases daily, when EB3 is 'U', do you have answer for this.
Since ther is plenty of approval going on everyday.
They are not following any PD for the last 3-months approval, I don't believe any rule they have.Now they are already under pressure , and the pressure started already.They have to clean up.I don't think they will wait untill next year June, since Election is on Sept'2008.

These approvals happened weeks ago when PDs were current. These cases were already processed and were only awaiting visa numbers. Assigning visa numbers is a trivial task.
The harder task of updating records and generating paper work takes time and that is why you see approvals coming out daily. USCIS cannot even generate receipts in a timely manner - why would they be any quicker on paperwork for GC approvals?
Since ther is plenty of approval going on everyday.

Still waiting for FP ,called USCIS Customer service on Nov 06th,2007,rep advised to call after 30 days to file SR.
She mentioned delay is because my application was sent to Nebraska as it should have been,Nebraska transferrd to California ,California did my ecept and EAD and sent back to Nebraska for further action....don't know when.
I know people filing later than me and PD in 2006-2007 got their FP notices and FP done...

That was a great post from "snathan" and a very touching one as well. Thanks dude.
I see few comments saying otherwise and even pushing "snathan" to pull back his original post. But the way I see it, "snathan" never adviced or forced it on anyone. There are always good and bad things everywhere and upto the matured minds to see what to take and what not to. But to deprive someone of that piece of advice or information or a story for that matter, is what I would term it bad.
Well, if this arrived too late for someones current relation, it should definitely help the next one. After all life doesn't end until the last breath.
Also thanks to Mbhai too. Though meant to criticize, still had the "snathan" posting in quotes. Otherwise many like me wouldn't have had the chance to read his post. Again I am not saying Mbhai and rest others who criticized did anything wrong. They again free to share there opinion but could have avoided pointing directly to someone ( no harm ). All here are matured enought to see whats good/bad and what to take/not.

I think EADs are sent to the applicant and AP to the attorney...had the same in my case...plus seen lots of folks here say the same thing...
EAD, AP & FP notice are sent directly to the applicant. If you see the status of AP as document mailed then you should get within 2/3 days as they send by DHL. I got mine in 2 days, my wife also got in 2 days

Either way your message and tone of your post doesn't sound hopeful for anybody. Could you please consider changing your screen name to "HOPELESS"? Found this news clipping on an Indian newspaper Today. Below is the Link to the news Article and what it says.It's naive to conclude its gonna happen overnight but the issue of getting back our Social security is catching up!!
New Delhi, Dec. 4: India and the United States will discuss the issue of a totalisation agreement next week to allow Indians working in America to avail of social security benefits that they pay while working in the United States. Visiting US secretary, US under-secretary for international trade, Franklin L. Lavin said, United States and India are trying to reach a closure on the matter and the United States will be taking up the matter next week.
Speaking at a function, held in the capital on Monday by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mr Lavin, who is heading the largest-ever US delegation to India of 250 companies, also revealed that the United States has approved the opening of a consulate in Hyderabad to encourage business with the State.
Noting that the US was looking at various ways to make business with India easier, Mr Lavin said, the idea was to have an independent economic relation. �We have consistently said that companies have to be serious about doing business with India on a standalone basis. It is not a question of whether to invest in India or Brazil or China, but a necessity. We want to make it easier to do business with India,� Mr Lavin said.
On the Doha round of talks of the World Trade Organisation, Mr Lavin said, �We can expect an outcome if Brussels, New Delhi and we, each show our willingness to take things forward.� He also said that several initiatives have resulted in greater Indo-US business cooperation.
These include the Open Skies Agreement in civil aviation, as a result of which passenger traffic has increased 60 per cent in the last one year, reduction of tariffs on industrial goods, a raise in investment caps in retail by India and efforts to liberalise entry of foreign education institutes. Mr Lavin, however, pointed out that there are a number of challenges facing India-US business ties.

OK guys, here is what I think. Being in US on a visitor visa, and then applying for an I-485 does seem like a violation of visa terms, but the other way round seem to be fine. I mean she can apply for an I-485 first in India, and then apply for a visitor visa later while her I-485 application is pending. While applying for a visitor visa she just has to honestly tell the consulate officer that her I-485 is pending and there should be no problems.
If she applies for I-485, she has *beyond a shadow of doubt" expressed immigration intent. Her visitor visa request will immediately be rejected.
If this is not so, then it means that all those who have filed I-485 in their home countries through consular processing route are in effect barred from entering US till some decision is taken on their application. This sounds bizarre. Does not make sense. What do you say?
