i think EB movement will be gradual and it will maybe move to first qtr of 2005 by the end of this year(EB2).....no way will it be C..
On one hand we have VLD Rao crunching numbers like CRAY XMP and telling that EB2 will be close to current by End of the Year . On the other hand Mapadpa now says that the movement will be slow . I am a mere mortal and i am confused to the core on what to make of it ,

You are right. I was on the call, and they only blathered about some Job ADS that specify "H1 Only" or something. THey have an rss feed going on the left side of the brightfuturejobs site, and they want the Antis to post en masse about how these jobs violate their rights.
The push is to get the Durbin bill passed. And they want to use these posts as "historical evidence" or some crap like that.

Wow! This is really something. I believe my lawyer even attached a printout of a copy of the visa bulletin for my 485 case. I was laughing at that point saying wouldnt they know whats current, but now after hearing this, I stand corrected. being as conservative as possible is the best option when dealing with this agency.

Hi,
I think at this point, you need to show that the original 2000 graduation date was final and true. I would try to get a letter from your school stating that you did graduate with B.S. degree in 2000 and 2000 was the graduation year. Try to get an official letter stating that. The letter could, if possible, explain why later dates appear on you degree transcript. However, it must underline that you graduated in year 2000.
If you can get an official letter from your university that will be great.
I am sure u have the passing out certificate, character certificate from your college which must be saying u are done with ur degree in 2000.
See the thing is you graduated in 2000, but u have some supplimental exams which u took in 2001 and 2002. I am just curious, do you have separate marksheets for supplimental exams. If yes, then check with your university, if they can club those mark sheets in to the old ones.
I have seen ppl getting it done. The subject u had to retake will have a star on it.

It is for all those people (the indian diaspora) who do log on to the online versions of their hometown newspapers to check local Indian news, it might be a pleasant surprise to see the news abt the rally out there!!!
Secondly won't you be inclined to be a part of the rally when your mom or dad friend or a cousin read the news back home and asked you " are you a part this movement" imagine all the non commital people saying ummm ummmm food for thought bloke!!:rolleyes:

Yes you are right, there is bound to have EAD flood in market, with spouses of hi-tech worker will come to market to search hi-tech job with spouse phone support. I have seen such cases countless times in past few years and yes they will be in future without exception. However, matter of fact, these fresh EAD (previous H4) don't get the dream job in first attempt, it takes good 2 year to find a similar job that H1b hitech worker does.
But thats the realty of market, every year new jobs are added and every year new job seekers join the crowd.
On the otherside, a hitech worker is suppose to always learning something new and getting his/her position more stronger everyday, its a knowledge market, whoever knows more gets better $$. With my 7yr US exp and total 10 yrs CS exp I have no scare that any single fresh EAD will come close to me. A senior is always a senior no matter which field you talk.

I know before you start blaming me for this thread, as it is of no use, I would like to point out that most of you must be experiencing the same thing. I didn't care much for Visa bulletin until it became current for EB2 two weeks back. As the time progress, I am doing all sorts of things, like checking USCIS case status, and checking everything that can possibly give me some information. I know that it is waste of time, I know it is not good for health, I know that I will get GC when time comes, but still, my mind is tricking me to think about it. I checked all these forums until 2A.M last night. I am not having enough sleep. I am waiting for a opportunity to get rid of my desi employer. I am really getting frustrated (I am not saying that I have been waiting for GC approval desperately). I just want to share my frustration and what I have been going through. I know I am in a better position than most of other people whose priority date is not even current. I wish they never dangled a carrot in front of me. I am not sure if they disappoint me next month, but I am still keeping my hopes. Hopefully, I would get over this and have enough sleep from today.

My lawyer is asking 350 for EAD and 500 for AP for each person excluding filing fees.Is it normal.or Can I go to another lawyer for EAD and AP who is cheaper than my company lawyer.
